Automatic update last week. Now the E911 icon is always showing in the notification area (diamond with cross lines to points). If I do not have the phone in vibrate then my text message, calendar events, and email icons show normally. If the phone is in vibrate, then a singular message, event, email icon will not show. However, multiple events will show normally (orange circle with number). If I have the phone in landscape with vibrate using an application, the event icons show normally. It seems that there is a limited amount of space in the notification area in portrait mode. But why does it take two events to show the icon in the notification area when a single event requires the same amount of space? Any suggestions?
