Froyo 2.2 update via Kies

Although I think this link is for the European version of the Fascinate, I'm wondering if anyone tried it w/ Verizon's i500 Fascinate.

You'd have to download and install the Kies software on your PC first.  I'm guessing it will look at the phone you have connected and tell you that you don't have the correct model, thus not allow the upgrade to 2.2.

That is for the european model. It has been out for going on three months now. It is not compatible because the fascinate uses a different signal and ui.

The European model Fascinate is different than the US version.
