Galaxy S3 not updating to Jellybean

I keep checking everyday, multiple times a day for the update to jellybean. I have noticed other users have gotten the update but i have yet to receive it, can anyone tell me why?

Everytime i try to check for the update by going to about device and check for update it just keeps telling me to go to about device when service is available

Same issue here. Verizon tech support told me to get a new phone. Unfortunately I bought my phone in July and dropped it a few days later  so I got a new one through insurance.  Since it was a replaced phone and not the original it is not covered by the one year warranty and the insurance company wants me to pay the $90 again for another new phone, with no guarantee that it will fix the updating issue.  This is garbage and I will defiantly be switching to AT&T!

Get a new sim card.  I bought my phone in July and the very first minor update they did would not go to my phone. Kept telling me to try when service was available.  I stumbled upon the sim card thing on one of these sites and took my phone to Verizon. I explained what I found out and said I wanted a new sim. The verizon tech said it wouldn't help but I insisted.  So she replaced it and lo and behold it worked!!

Hi I am also not getting the update.  I visited a store and the tech told me to call customer service and that they might be able to force the update to me.  However when I called customer service last Saturday (1/19/13) the woman told me that the latest version of Android was 4.0.4 and that my phone was up to date.  I am fairly certain that this is not true considering that 3 other people in my office have GS3's through Verizon and all of them received the update over 3 weeks ago.

Please help!

My phone won't update to jelly bean either. When I go to manually update my phone it shows no update. But when I try the manual update and back out right away it tells me there is an update available and tells me that I should update my phone. Kind of frustrating!!!
