What bad luck...I got home from work installed the update and now after 5-10 minutes my phone reboots constantly. Rebooted in safe mode and the same thing happens. I then tried to do a hard reset and I get to a crazy screen with an Android shoveling something, I won't speculate on what...It says downloading don't disconnect. I let that run for 6 hours and nothing happened. I assume I am, SOL. I can't choose to do the reset. I just get that screen.
The Factory Data Reset through the menu doesn't work either. I press the delete all your data button it runs and hangs after a few minutes.
It would be nice if there is a solution. I was planning on upgrading to the Galaxy Nexus, but who knows how long without a phone.

I'm slightly more lucky, but not much. The upgrade went fine. Or so I thought. However I tried out Google Maps and while the GPS locked very quickly, so did the application! It caused forced close. I tried flushing the app's cache and even uninstalled/reinstalled the application, but nothing helped. So I turned my phone off. Came back a half our later and the battery had been totally drained! It had been completely full before.
so far 2.3 sux.
