Hey there, I love my SIII but lately it has started asking me to turn on global mode all the time. This is only since the software update.
This is incredibly annoying. Is there any way to turn it off? Every time I receive a text it tries to turn it on.
Thanks

Go to Settings
More Settings
Mobile Networks
Network Mode
Check the LTE/CDMA option.
Hopefully that will take care of the global thing.

Snowdark, it's so easy to love a Samsung Galaxy S III phone, since it's an awesome device! Sometimes software updates will cause your device to populate invalid error messages like you're recieving. I recommend that you master reset your device to resolve this issue. No worries, your contacts and photos can be saved at Backup Assistant Plus. To master reset your device, please follow the steps below:
App Menu>Settings>Backup & Reset>Factory Data Reset>Reset Device >Delete All
I am anticipating your reply to further assist you if needed. ^LH

That's a bit ridiculous. I'm not resetting my phone. I have it set up exactly the I want it. Updates should be properly screened before they are let out to every device to make sure they will not cause software errors.
I also do not pay for Backup Assistant Plus, nor will I.
Yes, I am feeling more than a bit disgruntled at this unhelpful response.
