HELP! Annoying long tone on all incoming calls while on a call??

I hope someone can help. When I am on a call, and a call comes the annoyance begins. There is a long, consistent tone that continues to sound as I am on the first call, ignoring the incoming call. The tone never stops. I have to hang up in order to make the noise stop. Does anyone else experience this? Is there a way to make it stop? I have a Samsung Fascinate Galaxy S if that matters.

That is quite a strange issue! Please dial *228 and choose option 1 to reprogram it. If the phone doesn't reboot afterwards, pull out the battery and retest. If that doesn't work, do you have any calling applications that could be causing this?

Try that and let us know how that works.

Strange indeed. And annoying. It's been happening for over a month and suddenly stopped this week. Not sure why it stopped, but I'm thankful! Thanks for responding to my question.
