How do I move email to a sub-folder?

Using the recently updated email client I no longer have the ability to move email into (IMAP) sub-folders. The Move window only shows the parent folders. How do I get the window to show all of my IMAP folders?

Thank you,

Maybe try removing the email account from the phone and re-adding it again?

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Removed and re-added the IMAP account. Didn't work. I still only see top-level folders in the "Move" window.

Can you give me more detail on what you are seeing?  When you say Parent Folders, are you referring to Inbox, Trash, Sent, etc.?  Do you have sub-folders of the Inbox that are (for example) Work files, School files, PTA messages, etc. that you would like to move messages to?  Which email service are you using (Yahoo!, Hotmail, or other)?

I set-up my Yahoo! Email account on my Galaxy Note II (which should have similar software to your SGS III) using the stock email app on the phone.  I can see the sub-folders that I created for my individual classes and organizations that I am/was a member of.  I can also move messages to one of those folders.

When you press the menu key in the Email app, what options do you have?

Yes, 21stNow. The parent folders are as you describe with sub-folders but the sub-folders no longer appear with the most recent OS update. I'm hearing this from all of my Galaxy S3 friends so apparently it's a different app than what you use on the Note II.

When I tap the menu button I am able to navigate to sub-folders (from the "Folders" menu option) but the dialog/window during the "Move To" function does not show sub-folders on any IMAP Galaxy S3 that I have seen so far. I have seen five different devices and they all work just as I describe.

OK.  I can't check this on my Galaxy S III, as it no longer has the latest OS update on it.  The only other person that I know with a Galaxy S III doesn't have the latest update on his phone either.  Sorry that I couldn't help with this.
