There may be some here that like me wish the volume on our phones was a little higher. I have tried differents apps and methods that yielded no results or barely noticeable results. I found in xda an older thread where a member recommended a simple app from the Market called Equalizer, as the name implies it is simply one screen with multiple sliders to adjust the db level of different frequencies. I set all the sliders at maximum and decided to test out with programs like Netflix, Pandora, Slingplayer, my own videos and movies, phone ringing, notifications etc. In all cases the volume of the speaker was louder but NOT distorted, then I tried the headphones: CAUTION!!! with headphones maximum volume can hurt your ears, so adjust to your threshold of pain.
When you turn on program DO NOT use the back key to leave screen because you just turned OFF the program, use the HOME key and the program remains in the background, another good feature is this program has a small footprint and does NOT require root. I hope this information is useful to some before the thread is overwhelmed to obscurity be the I hate my phone threads, it is a shame that this forum is ALMOST exclusively used for the bad and rarely used to share good tips, apps and practices,
