Received an email with a .wmv attachment. It won't open and it says that I don't have an application installed that will. Any ideas?

Hello Sturgis! The file you've received is of an unsupported format for the Galaxy Nexus. The .wmv file is an audio file that works with Windows Media Player, and is therefore supported by Microsoft products. There are programs that you can use to convert the file to a supported format. With a bit of research, you may find one that suits your needs and budget!

This is correct about the unsupported part but WMV is a video file actually.. WMV is short for Windows Media Video/

- DVD Catalyst.4 is the best for me... http://www.tools4movies.com/ it has converted any files without any issues and its sales for 10.00
- Handbrake from http://handbrake.fr/downloads.php is a good free application but some report issues with some files..
- Xilisoft MP4 Converter from http://www.xilisoft.com/mp4-converter.html
