I have a Galaxy S5 and all of a sudden cannot send or receive emails from any of my accounts. Help!!

I'm sorry to hear about the sudden trouble with your email! Let's work on getting this fixed together. Are you using the pre-installed mail application or one downloaded from the play store? Are you able to access a regular webpage? Connected to WiFi or VZW data (3G or 4G)? Any error message?

Thank you for getting back to me. I am using the pre-installed application for my emails. It is affecting my gmail, as well as my msn email account. I am able to access any regular web pages and have not received any error messages. I just cannot send or receive any emails from any account. I have tried turning off the phone and turning it back on, and sometimes a few emails will come and go through once it restarts, but that's it. Nothing after that. I have also been experiencing my screens freezing....the home screen and all others as well. Seems a bit glitchy. I hope you can help.

Ajewell75 Your emails are important! I'm sure we can help. If the issue is that emails can come through after a device restart then that is not an issue with the email account. We asked earlier if you're connected to wifi or the mobile network. Please share those additional details.

I am usually connected to wifi but it happens when I am connected to the 4g as well

Thanks for clarifying! Do you receive an error message? Please attempt to send and email to yourself and advise the results. Additionally, have you tried to remove and re-add the email accounts?

Once in a great while I have this issue on my various devices and their email apps. I uninstall the email account in the app and set it up again from scratch and that seems to solve things so you might try that. Mary

I have same phone and I am having same issue. I can only send and receive email over wi-fi. I am using android 4.4.2.

Master Sync is turned on, and each acct is set to check email every 15 min. I have removed and added the email accounts, no fix. I am using the native email app.
