I only have 3 input languages on my phon

On my samsung galaxy s3 I wanted to change the language that I send text messages in. I wanted to change it from English to Ukrainian. But when I go to options and press language and input I only have 3 languages on there which are English, French, and Korean. I also tried downloading a Ukrainian keyboard which seemed to work only when I write in Ukrainian to other people all they get is question marks instead of the actual Ukrainian text/ words. What should I do so I can text people in Ukrainian ?

Hi there tdianat!

Texting folks in different languages sure is a pretty cool feature on smartphones these days. So, if we can get you up and running in Ukrainian then I'll count this one as a WIN. Of course, as you may have found out, your best bet at this time is to find the best third party application via the Google Play Store.

Outside of that, another feature you may wish to check out is the Google voice typing feature and checking languages that way. Simply go to Settings > Language and input > select the cog next to Google voice typing > Choose input languages. You can do this for some of the other features as well. I hope this information helps.

You might try a third-party keyboard like SwiftKey. It has lots of languages you can download to use with it, when I used it, I used the Greek and Russian keyboards, and Ukrainian was also offered as were other Slavic layouts.

Incidentally, the Galaxy Note II seems to have SwiftKey built in, these languages were also listed for download, and the SwiftKey flow (Swype type keyboard) was listed there as an option, so it's probable that when the S III gets updated to 4.1.1, this keyboard will also be included.  Hopefully the S IV will have it.
