Have you tried doing a factory reset? That will sometimes force the notification there's an update available. Just make sure you have your phone backed up. Also you may want to try calling samsung to see if they have a way.

No, not yet. And my question to that is this. Why do I have to do a factory reset, when everyone else's phone did the update with out it?
Also, I do think I am going to do the reset tomorrow, but what all am I going to lose? I did a contact back up, but what about my apps, pictures, and ringtones? And once I reset, how do I get my contacts back. I really hope this works
And thank you for the info

Have you tried with wifi? If you reset you will lose all info on the phone except what's on your memory card. If your contacts are backed up through backup assistant then it will prompt you to restore after you reset. Your apps may/may not come back. Some phones do..some don't. You will know once you sign into your gmail account after the phone is reset so make sure you know your gmail password. The paid ones should..the free ones you may have to redownload. Pictures should be on the card but one way to find out is go into settings/storage and unmount the sd card. Go back into your gallery and if you cannot see the pics they are on the card. If you can see them you will need to transfer them to your computer. Just make sure you go back in and mount the sd card after you check the gallery. The ringtones...it depends on where they are from. Hope this helps:)

May be a bit of a long shot, but I heard of someone who wasn't getting their update because Verizon had the wrong phone associated with their profile. You may need to call customer service, or go into a store, but hopefully you get this squared away.
