I was just wondering whether anyone has had any luck in sending a video mms? I have tried to switch quality to 480, use the front facing camera, using handcent, stock messaging app, and nothing seems to work. I can't send video texts with this phone? Or am I missing something? I have a 3 year old daughter and am expected to send videos to relatives in other states periodically... Any help? I really don't want to have to return my nexus, I am really liking this phone!

If you want higher quality, I would suggest sending via email.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

You would think that, but if there is an option on the Nexus I can't find it... there are only 3 settings for videos. 1080p, 720p, and 480p. Even using the front facing camera there is only 720p and 480p. Even on the 480p I can't send a 3 second video. it says it's too big..

Open your text message and select a new message and then press the attachment option, from this menu select video / camera and record the video... There is usually a 1.2 meg size limit but I noticed that some devices has indicated up to 3.0 meg size...
Heres the post I posted on this subject..

Thank you, that does help. I like that I know that I can at least do it if I want to, I just wish there were a way to send a video that I have already made. But at least now I know that I can at least send one! Thank you!

If you want to send larger files you should consider setting up a DropBox, you can transfer files to this storage and then share with others...

Why not just send the video through your gmail account'?
