I am not going to do a factory reset on my phone to get the notifications back, it seems that Verizon is the only company with this issue since I know many many people with different carriers that still have this option. I liked being able to see how many calls/messages I had with my screen still locked. I just switched to Verizon about 2 months ago and so far am not impressed. I have poor signal strength at all times (even after having Verizon check this issue out), when I am on the phone, it always seems static like and disconnects. So, when will all of this be fixed????

Also, my battery life is HORRIBLE now! I've had it off the charger for 2 hours now (using it ONCE in that time for a 10 min convo) and my battery life is already at 80%! I do not have a cell phone, to have to keep on a charger 24/7!

Beaners729,
Oh no! We want you to be impressed with your service! I know how important it is to have a phone that works properly. Let's get this fixed. The Jelly Bean update changed the lock screen to the standard Verizon Wireless user interface. In the default view of the lock screen, when missed calls, new text messages, and/or new emails are available, the number badges shall be shown. No bubble indicators shall be shown.
Is the poor signal strength ans static indoors only? How far do you have to travel to get a strong signal to the device? What is your zipcode? I want to help. Keep me posted.
Thanks,

Hello,
The weak signal and static is all the time, at my house, in the car, at
work. My zip code is 19007. I've mentioned this before and it was
supposed to be fixed. For instance - right now I have barely 1 bar of
service and I'm not on 3G or 4G...I notice sometimes it'll switch from 3G
or 4G to 1X or it'll just say no service. I have never seen a strong
signal on this phone since I purchased it. The highest it will go is 2
bars and always switch from different networks or just zone out all
together.
With the Jelly Bean update - my notification sounds sometimes will be
short, not make any sound or vibration or very rarely actually make the
full sound. I have read from others that their phones do the same. So I
miss calls and texts because there is no notification sound or vibration at
all.
