My husband and I got matching Fascinate at the first of the year and have been pretty pleased until recently. The last couple of weeks the battery goes in a couple of hours when it used to last a day and a half. We are missing numerous calls/texts, sometimes the phone will just suddenly announce that we have voicemail. Also it has been reported to us that when someone try's to call us sometimes it doesn't ring its just dead air. This is VERY frustrating, we use our phones for business calls and usage hasn't changed!! To make matters worse tonight my phone decided to go even more screwy, it shut itself off and wouldn't turn on for the longest time then when it did all that appeared was the android figure in a triangle then it said it had to reboot. Someone please help me There is a lot of life left in my contract and phone isn't working so we are paying big bucks for a service we are not receiving. I am a very unsatisfied customer tonight!!!!

Have you updated to fro-yo 2.2 Os i'm suming you have as it's out for a while now. i have heard that the Fascinate has had some bad issues down the way an it took for ever to get fro-yo an customers are still being hammered by problems after fro-yo so i'd say try a factory reset on both of them.
Call verizon an go to the teck dept. an ask for a Android specialist tell them the issue in hand an have them help you thru a factory reset as this will help especially when a new Os comes out. by doing the reset it puts the new os on a clear slate. its good to do this. an it might clear up the issues you and your husband are having with the phones.
An i have to androids my self a Droid incredible & Droid X happily named Birtha an both have they're share of factory resets as a matter of fact. one had just a month ago. one had a issue
an the other got it when Gingerbread was released.
So good luck to ya an i hope the issues that your having can be fixed soon for ya. Ra.

Until you realize that Verizon is only interested in your $$$ and that they will be doing nothing to correct the problems with the UN-Fascinate, you will remain "a very unsatisfied customer." I was told by a friend that is a local Verizon store rep that the problems will not be resolved since the Fascinate will be phased out in the Fall and Big Red is concentrating their efforts on new phones and 4G service. He said that on any given day, a minimum of 6-8 people come in complaining about the Fascinate and all the problems you described and MANY more. My wife and I have this {word filter avoidance} phone and loved it until they destroyed the functionality with the Froyo 2.2. We miss at least 5 calls per day and the calls aren't even showing up in the Call Log. Our texts sometimes work but for the most part, fail. We are waiting for AT&T to bring out the iPhone5 next year and then we will be moving our service. What a dismal shame that a once good company now chooses to ignore it's customer base and post Billion dollar profits.

Thats exactlly why i would have one of the Dam things an for other reasons as well. You could'nt give me one. an if someone would try i'd stomp the **** out of it. I love my Dinc. an my Droid X an would'nt part with them. one bit
