I tried to connect my smart phone ( Samsung Fascinate) to my TV by USB to show photos. However, nothing happened except it charged my phone. How can I share photos from cell phone to TV.? Is there a special software or apps? Do I need special drivers?
Have you tried Mounting your phone once the phone is connected to the TV using the microUSB to USB cable?
To Mount your phone to another device:
1. Connect your phone to your TV via the cable
2. Long press the notification bar until something drops, then drag your finger down
3. Press on the USB icon to connect
4. Press Mount when the option comes up
btw, to actually view this connection, you may be required to change your TV's input setting to match the port of the input device you want to see.
