Mobile Data Extremely Slow/Not Working

After I updated my S10-5G this morning for the January 2020 update I have had issues connecting to anything online. I can text just fine but when I search or use my mobile data for any internet use, there is a slow load for about 10% and then it says connectivity issues or slow data.
Is this just me? I can't find others with the same issues. I have tried switching from Gloabal to LTE and other mobile network options. All fail.

It's our priority to provide you with the speeds you need. Did you perform the update using data, or a Wi-Fi connection? Does this only happen with the internet? How are your apps working for you? EllisandraC_VZW

I'm having the same issue. Will not send any MMS period. I've been through every Troubleshooting step and still nothing. All resets, all restarts, Safe Mode, etc. Extremely frustrating. Feels like 2005 speed. Please advise.

Having a working service for your area is important and we want to make sure you are all set with your services. With regard to your connection issues what is your current zip code? How long has this been an issue for you and are there others impacted as well? JasperM_VZW

Internet connections have been terrible for over a month. WiFi is terrible, eating up our data because wifi is hardly ever on. It comes on then goes rightback off. Issues have been going on g or quite some time. Please try to fix the issue. Thanks

All of my family is having the same issue with slow 4G or not working at all in the Vero Beach, FL area (32968 zip). It’s been happening off and on for me since I activated my iPhone 8 in February.

My entire family has been having the same issue with slow 4G or not working at all in the Vero Beach, FL area (32968 zip). We are on different phone plans, both with Verizon. All have iPhones. I have been having this issue off and on with my iPhone 8 since it was activated in February.

Stanks20 We definitely want to help make sure you have the best service available. Can you tell me if this happens at a specific location (indoors/outdoors)?

I have wondered the same exact thing. Aren't 4G or 5G supposed to be fast data connections?

JesusReigns777,
We certainly understand everyone's need for speed. Are you specifically having data speed concerns? If so, what ZIP code are you located in? What make and model device do you have?

DJMama1, I am sad to hear you are experiencing issues. I know how important reliable service is to you. Is this issue only occurring when you are at a particular location or everywhere you go? What zip code are you in?

Zip code 94015, also at 91767, both locations with newly upgraded Verizon do more unlimited high speed data plan. After >$400, hours of tech support with a new jet pack I got nothing! No connection on phone or jet pack except for slow/brief period morning and evening. What is this???? Phone moves like a snail, what is going on? I have to resort to a dinosaur speed internet plan. What’s the point? Can I get a refund?

Decala, we always want our customers to have the reliable service they deserve. To see that you’re having issues is disappointing. Let’s check out what’s going on and see how we can help. Since this has been happening, have you powered your device off for at least 2-3 minutes and then powered the device on again?

I live 3 miles from downtown Minneapolis. Drop calls constantly in my neighborhood and get between 3-10 mbps download consistently. If I’m not on WiFi I can’t load anything or even send a text message!! How is this 2020 data service?
