Most recent Android update causing constant reboot (even after Factory Reset)

Applied the most recent Android Update to my Galaxy S6 last night. Now the phone has been constantly restarting (not getting past the "Starting Apps" message after initial boot) and coming back with "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped". I have applied a factory reset through Android System Recovery. Still doesn't work. Thoughts?Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 EdgeAndroid

You've come to the right place for help LCKY12_. Software updates are meant to improve your phone not cause you headaches. Let's to the bottom and get your phone back up and running. I appreciate all the great troubleshooting you've done so far.

Did the device complete the software update or did the phone start rebooting during the update process? It sounds like the software did not download properly. Try running the software update again using the Software Update Assistant. You can visit http://vz.to/1qufF5D for complete steps. Keep us posted if you need further assistance.

The exact same thing happened to me. The updated tried to install but my phone just kept rebooting during the update process. I tried to do a "soft restart" but that didn't work so I too did a factory reset. Now my phone won't even let me get past the activation process.  I just got my phone from Costco in either May or June of this year. What can I do?

Hello 1stevenson. I'm so sorry this issue has persisted. I' would be happy to look into replacement options. Was you device damaged in any way? Have you attempted to power down and remove and reinsert the Sim card?

Hello, thanks for the quick reply. I would really like to know about the replacement options. No, my phone was not damaged in any way. My phone was working fine until I tried to install the latest update.  I have powered down the device and even reset to factory. Now my phone won't even let me get past the activation process. It just keeps restarting.

Our top priority is getting that phone functional again. With Samsung devices, there is another way to reset the phone to get things correct again. Please follow the directions in this link:
