I purchased my S^ back in May, and it has worked great until the last couple of weeks. Now, it will not charge with a cord, and will only charge wirelessly. I have tried multiple cords, and the all fit tightly, but won't charge. These same cords charge my husband's phone, and my work phone, so I know that it's not a cord issue. I have cleaned the charging area with canned air, and cannot see anything wrong inside.

I'd take it to a VZW store and have them check it out. A friend of mine hsa the S6 and has not had this challenge. It is good that you tired various cords. Since your probably within the 1-year manufacture warranty they will send you a ceritied like new device. You could try the Software Repair Assitant as a last ditch effort before you go to a store: Repair Assistant - Software Upgrade Assistant (Samsung) | Verizon Wireless
