Is the S7 a very sturdy phone? Or should I buy a cover and glass protector. I thought this phone was waterproof and "drop proof."

nope on either. its resistant. even the active failed its test. dont tempt fate in water or drops. either get insurance or a case. i have the edge, and encased it first day. too many horror stories of shattered screens and wet inside.if you have s7 its better fit with cases than the edge. 799 phone vs case 30, i pick a case.
