NOTE8 Battery issue after yesterday update

Lascivious1
Newbie

SO, I woke up this morning to about 80% battery life. put it on my charger to charge while in shower. took if off charger went to car for work. while sitting in car to warm up pulled out phone to text and it was dead. turned it on and it showed battery 0% and turned off again. whats going on?

So when I got to work I put it on charger and it charged to 100% in 20 mins. "not possible"

And now its stuck at 100%!  been playing games, surfing web, etc for over 30 mins and it has not dropped and its now been at least an hour with no change. what did this Verizon update do my 1k$ phone??!!

tried 2 resets, 2 soft resets. put it in safe mode and let it sit for 15 mins. still 100% battery. anyone got a clue?

if it was to 80% when you charged at work....wasn't that much to get it to 100%.
