Just got my GNex in the mail, everything is fantastic, except for the notification LED. i've gotten voicemails, texts, and emails, and nothing will make it light up. I can't find anything in the settings to turn it off/on, just a setting to make it pulse (which does nothing). Am I missing something, or am I gonna have to go get a replacement?

The notification light does not work for email/text/sms etc nativly. From what I have found out, manufacturers are removing this on phones. I purcahsed Light Flow, it is an absolutely amazing application, you can set different colors, tones, alers for different apps, test/sms/mms/missed calls etc. This is the only solution I have come up with but works great

My notification light works with emails. I haven't tested it with text messages yet, as I would have to switch the SIM card to do so. Is this something that VZW disabled?

This worked, thank you. I tried a few different apps, but none of them worked until this one. DIdn't even have to pay for it, they have a free version.
