Phone beeps when phone is fully charged

Is there a way to turn this off without turning off the ringer or alarm. I really don't like being woke up at 3am to be notified my phone is fully charged. Keeping it in another room is not an option because I use the alarm

If the ringer is on, the phone does not have an option to turn the sound off after the phone has been fully charged. You can put the phone on vibrate only to stop the notification.

I also find this very annoying. It never did this before. Can you please mention this to the product development folks? I am not sure why they add things that in the big picture can be more annoying than helpful if we don't have a way to turn it off.
