Picture Gallery

When I take a picture with my phone it doesn't always save the picture immediately to my Gallery.  I can't see that I'm doing anything different between the pictures that are saving immediately, and those that are not.

Are you using stock camera app?  If so have you considered that maybe the device is low on resources and it has to close apps to free memory the process the image, the Droid X use to do this until I set up a script for task killer to close unused apps when camera was opened.... Never noticed the issues again.

Try closing a few apps before using camera and see if that helps...

Thank you Wildman for your assistance and the great questions. 

Additionally, I would like to also ask if you have a memory card in your device? If so, check the available memory by going to Menu > Settings > SD card & Phone Storage and check the available space. If this information is not displayed, remove the memory card and place it back in the device. If you do not have a memory card in your phone, I would recommend to purchase one which may be the reason why you are unable to access your pictures.

Have you tried clearing out the cache?

I have seen that the Gallery gets held up while the camera is taking pictures, and will not refresh.  I have gone into Advanced Task Killer, and killed the Gallery task. If I wait a moment or 2 after that, and open the Gallery, they have then appeared. This has seem to work for me.

Thank you for your reply, I have recently (in the last couple of days) found that I need to go into my task killer and kill the Camera task, and my pictures then appear in my Gallery.
