HELP! When I open the gallery app on my fascinate, the screen is blank (greenish looking hue in background) no pictures files - it then goes black and back to the blank screen - this is all it does - over and over again. I have tried turning it off and back on several times - anybody have any ideas on how to fix this problem.. FYI - If I tap on the camera icon (top right corner of the screen) I can access all of my pictures through the camera.
Simple things first:
- turn phone off, then on...try gallery
- turn phone off, remove battery , remove SD card, reinsert SD card,
reinstall battery. Turn phone on try gallery
- Try accessing the pictures via the Application - 'MY files '
open my files go to the DCIM folder..then the Camera folder
do you see the pictures there?
Try reading card in pc, if it works in computer then go to Settings / Applications / Manage Applicarions / All Tab / Media Storage and then place card back in phone and boot.
I have tried all three suggestions - nothing works - I can see the thumnail images of my pictures under DCIM/camera but they won't open with the default of gallery. Any more ideas?
You can try:
Menu....Settings...Applications
Manage applications...Press 'All' button on top
Scroll down to 'Gallery' Application
Press on 'Clear cache' ( if not grayed out)
Press on "Clear data ' button.
Then..Home button...Try gallery again
Start a new topic or ask questions in the open forum.
