When I try to receive a picture message, the message says downloading, message size, and when it expires. It is very frustrating not to be able to receive a picture message from family members. I currently run the SMS pop-up app to inform me when I have incoming text messages. Any suggestions??

Pictures come through the 'mobile data'.
Open your notification bar. Turn OFF WiFi. Make sure Mobile data is turned on and green.
Have someone send you a text with a picture attached.
Also , there 'may' be a limit on the size of the picture you can get on Verizon.
( ie a 3MB phone picture may work, but a phone that takes an 8MB picture may
result in a picture that is too large in byte size. )
If still problems, reduce the save size of the picture and try sending again.
Hope this helps.

Also remove Juice Defender if you have it, or some other app that could be causing conflicts.
