So I'm aware that many people are having this problem, yet Verizon seems to have taken NO effort into fixing the refreshing sim data problem. I even know the cause of it. I live in a low signal area. When i go from 1 bar of service to no bars my wifi disconnects, refreshes sim data, then reconnects, but leaves everything blank and i have to start my search over. This happens CONSTANTLY at my house. I cant even use the wifi on my phone without this issue and its really starting to drive me crazy that YOU (Verizon) wont even try to fix it. this does however only happen in LOW or NO SIGNAL area. Every one i've talked to has told me to swap my sim card or take out my battery. THIS DOES NOT FIX IT nor has it ever. I've gone as far as turning on power saver for wifi which actually worked...for 10 minutes...

AmShook, service indoors can be tricky. I reccomend that you check your coverage area http://bit.ly/xVecuo If you are currently in a low signal area, then I apologize that we may not be the primary wireless provider in that area.
When removing the sim card and power cycling that device off/on, it refreshes it on the local network for that area. This will improve your reception. Keep us posted.

Thank you for your reply, however low service is not what I'm worried about. I'm well aware that i have very low service at my house. My concerns are with my wifi. I am unable to do ANYTHING on my phone regarding wifi when i am at home because my phone constantly refreshes the sim data whenever it stumbles upon the slightest signs of signal. The wifi will be working great then it will refresh the sim data, restart my browser and then connect back up. Then when it loses the signal again it does it all over again. This is not just me, quite a few people who have a GS3 that comes to my house with verizon signal have had this happen to them, and it is NOT my wireless route. If i go to a place in my house where i wont even get one bar then i do not have this issue. Again, it only kicked me off my wifi when it tries to find cellular service. I've done the airplane mode and it fixes it but its annoying and i shouldn't have to find loop holes to make my wifi work.
So to sum it up - My WIFI kicked me off ANYTIME my phone finds 1 bar of service, then kicks me off again when it losses that signal. it is not just my phone and it is not my router. I know the exact cause, and a few fixes, but no permanent fix.

Have you tried a new SIM card?
You can also turn off the cellular data connection when you are planning to be connected to your wifi router for extended periods.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I truly appreciate you following up with Amshook. I can see the annoyance in the issue you are having with your device. I cannot thank you enough for your patience. I have some very interest information. We have recently released a software update for the Samsung Galaxy SIII. This update includes a fix for the Refreshing SIM data occurrence. http://vz.to/ON56bT In the mean time, could you please attempt turning off cellular data while connected to your Wi-Fi.

So I updated my phone not to long ago and it does in fact seem to have stopped disconnecting me, at least so far. and it even seems faster (plus all the other great add-ons) i hope it stays running smooth but for now I'm happy. Thanks a bunch.
