I am sorry but there is no caller id readout on my phone at that location.
I've read through all the posts concerning the announcement of the incoming caller id, but the option for "Speak caller id" is not in my menu under text-to-speech. How can I turn this off? I want my ringtones back!
The steps you are probably looking at are for before the software update to the 2.2 Froyo update. Check under Settings> Call Settings> Caller ID Readout> Ring Only. That should turn it off.
