With the unveiling of Samsung's next smart phone, I was wondering what the upgrade deal would be for the Galaxy S8. In 2016, I upgraded to the S7 Edge immediately in March, and I vaguely remember a blurb from Verizon mentioning a discount on upgrades to the subsequent Galaxy S device the subsequent year. Is this still a possibility? And, if so, how would it work? I appreciate any help!

Just spent two hours with AT&T and Verizon simultaneously, if you have directv you'll get a $25.00 discount on that, plus they will pay up to $650.00 per line to switch over. They are also running a deal on the S8+, BOGO, buy one get one free, plus $10.00 discount for the plus plan, waive start up fees and a 15% veterans discount monthly as well. (possibility of an additional discount for where you work etc.) Far better deal to end up with the S8+ then you can get from Verizon, both Verizon reps I spoke with said the same and one of the already switched to AT&T themselves:

Too bad ATT sucks and so does their customer service.
