Samsung s7 App Updates

All of the apps on my Samsung S7 will not update, also it will not let me download any new apps. This started after I did the software update on April 7th. I have called tech support and we tried several different things and it still will not let me update or download apps. As much as these phones cost they should not have any problems. How can I get this issue resolved without doing a factory reset?

It depends on what occurs or what error message displays when you are attempting to update/download apps and the status of your google account signed in on your device to do so.

I have plenty of storage...All apps that need updates just say downloading and they never update...they time out.

I appreciate the details that you've shared so far. It does seem strange that with a lot of storage you are running into these issues. Have you been able to try to update on both WiFi and LTE? If yes, what happened?

Welcome to the world of major system updates and the problems they cause.  This is another issue I will add to my list of reasons for delaying the Nougat update.
