I'm trying to undo a security password, but all other security options, to include having none, are grayed out in the encrypt screen. I only needed the security password for a day out in public, but now can't undo it! HELP!!!!

Do you have a corporate email on the phone where company security policies can and will restrict the types of security methods used to access the phone?
Otherwise you usually have to enter the current security pass code to access the options and change to a different security method for accessing the phone.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Ok, I figured this out, no thanks to Verizon or Samsung. It's a glitch that I think they built in on purpose. You can open up all other security options, to include none, by setting up a finger print scan on the phone. So, if you find all security locked out (or greyed out) as options, go through the finger print swiping set up process and then it will open up all the security options again. Lame...
