I'm pretty sure it can't be done without a 3rd party app but I thought I would ask anyway
Looking at the desktop view of Google calendars, the Task list appears as a calendar as well, yet, it does not show as such on the phone. Any way to synch it directly into the calendar app? I see that the phone has the local "My Tasks" under calendar, it would make sense if Google tasks could be brought in as well. Any thoughts?

Maya - I've been using a combo of GTasks (Dato) & Pure Calendar Widget for a quite sometime to do what you are looking for. Both apps can be found in Google Play.

Maya, that's a great question and I can see the value in being able to sync Google Tasks. There is currently not an option to sync Google Tasks, but you can search for 3rd party apps to see if one may support this feature.

Thanks Joggy. I have been using GTasks ever since I got my phone and absolutely love it. I think that's the best tasks app out there if you want to use Google tasks. I just thought it would be nice to have something stock.

I completely agree. You'd think that by now Google would have developed their own or bought up Dato's GTasks code. Oh well.
