Just bought two S22 phones, to upgrade from two S9s. (64gb S9s)
Let me preface by saying I'm an engineer and a pretty good tech guy.
I have literally wasted HOURS trying to transfer content. Tried Samsung Smart Switch first, took 3+ hours to get to 24%, then hovered around that, even with leaving it to run overnight. Tried it twice on one phone, using WiFi on a Verizon gigabyte connection.
The next day, tried the Smart Switch with a wired (usbC to usbC cable) on the 2nd phone, same issue.. spent HOURS just reading the info, then hung up around 9%.
Downloaded the Verizon Content Transfer App, tried to transfer Only the messages. (There were 3 plus years worth of messages) spent 2-1/2 hours "scanning" the messages, then another 2 hours downloading them. Got to 2 seconds left of the transfer, and hung up. left it sit for 45 more minutes, before waving the white flag and finally disconnecting from it.
Now have switched over to the Verizon cloud, and am once again, slowly downloading just the messages. I have over 12 hours in just one phone, just trying to effectively copy content, and I still have to go back to the first phone and get that transferred.
Verizon, you HAVE GOT to figure out a better way. We live in a 24 hour connected world, and your staff is only available until 7pm. What a joke.

We are experiencing increased volumes. We will be with you shortly. Do not respond as this may cause delays with receiving a return message.

Hi, JLS327. We recognize your time is valuable and I can reassure you this is never the experience we want for you when restoring your cloud content. As I understand you had issues with multiple cloud services, how big is the total content of all the content you're trying to restore?
