USB Problems and why does my phone read "Dialled" calls?

First off, I love my Samsung Fascinate and I anticipate the overdue Android 2.2 update (which is "rumored" to be avaiable Feb. 22) After the recent update, I noticed my phone will not connect to my PC and now takes longer to charge. I've contacted Samsung customer service and none of their suggestions solved the problems. Also I noticed while viewing my call log it reads, "dialled" calls. I'm wondering has my phone always read this and I'm just now seeing this or did it change after the update. Either way, it's embarrassing for words to be misspelled on such a nice phone.

yeah, you can try getting the usb drivers from http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/SCH-I500RKAVZW and clicking Software.  Latest version is on the bottom.  May want to try another usb port if that doesn't work.

Odd that your phone won't connect to your PC.  Could you mention some details about the steps you've taken to do this?  It's difficult to help without more details.

If you're connecting via USB, I'm sure they've already mentioned that since the DI09 update, you now have to long press your phone's notification bar when the USB icon appears, slide the notification bar down, press the USB notification, and then select Mount on the popup.  If not, then that's what you need to do.

The fastest way to charge your phone while keeping your phone on is to turn off your screen and charge it using the wall charger.  You just don't get the same amount of power coming out of the computer USB port.  I usually charge it this way overnight, and I'm sure it's fully charged before I wake up.

There are quite a few spelling errors in there courtesy of Samsung so it wouldn't surprise me.  The latest Froyo leak has EDF instead of DEF on the 3 key. lol

I was instructed to try turning on the debugging feature. The USB icon will show up, I clicked it and it ask to mount or not. I click mount and nothing happens.

If you go to My Computer, it doesn't show anything as removable storage?
