The gallery is useless after the update. Don't update. I think the problem is reading the SD card but not sure. I should have known this was going to fail considering all the problems during the past few weeks. Not sure if reseting the phone will help or not.

That fixed the problem although I don't know why an android update would make the card not readable when before the update it worked find. Doesn't fix the battery drain issue or poor wifi.
Learned a lesson, Never update until a month after release
