When can I pre order the Samsung Note 7?

Samsung said they are holding a special "Unpack" event in New York on August 2nd. I don't think they're doing preorders.

I'm hoping it will be the 6GB version, but only time will tell.  Wish that Verizon would post something on their website about any truth about a August 2nd preorder.
