Please tell me why VZW has forced Google to not allow android customers to use Google Wallet on VZW Phones?
Don't tell me that it's google's policy, because i'm very well aware that VZW has flexed it's muscle to threaten google with not selling androids.
It's no different if ford told you that you're not able to put Goodyear tires on your car. You would basically tell ford to, give you the car if they're going to tell you what you can and can't do with it. If you do put Goodyear tires, Ford does everything it can't to disable your car. That's VZW's response to google wallet, and frankly i pay you for your network. NOT what i do with my phone. Please don't come at me with ISIS, because I don't plan on moving to Austin or Salt Lake City to use something that my phone is fully capable of handling without Telelcom's stifling competition.

Besides Sprint, which carrier can you use Google Wallet on their carrier branded devices?

Nexus devices aren't supposed to be carrier branded. They're supposed to be stock Android, and stock Android includes Google Wallet.

Google wallet just loaded up on my vzw gnex from the play store... ISIS is a poc you can't get... Maybe they threw in the towel, although I doubt it.

Maybe the developer modified the application to work on more devices.

Not likely the only reason as side loading the wallet apk prior to this update worked just fine.

The app also wasn't available/compatible on the Samsung Galaxy S4 for VZW. It apparently is now. That device and others were also what I was referring to when mentioning Google added more devices.
It appears that the 2013 Nexus 7 is finally compatible as well.

I would wager a side load on the s4 would work.... Just an opinion, I could be wrong... But as for the GNEX, the incompatibility statement on the play store for the prior version was pure methane.
