I ordered a Black Mist s4 from Verizon online and received a Black Mist s4 with "white" charge cord and "white" headphones. Should I complain to Verizon support or was I supposed to receive white accessories with a black phone? This was a surprise and a little bit of a disappointment.
This is the way my black S4 came. My S4 was one of the later S4 phone sold as it was the 32gb phone. If you want a black charger and cord direct from Samsung that will work but the charging rate of the black charger is somewhat less than the white charger. What is your point anyway? The charger and cord has nothing to do with the operation of your phone.
Black chargee from Samsung is 1amp. Your phone will charge slower. The white is 2amp. They made them different colors because it's easier to know which is which.
The one that came with my S3's both had 1 AMP black chargers which I never used they were still in packaging when I sold the S3's. The white one that came with the S4's where 2 AMP chargers. I think the ones that came with the 7.7 tabs I had were 2 AMP black. The 2 AMP black which came with the 7.7 tabs where made somewhat different than http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/ETA-U90JBEBXAR shown. I think they called the 1 AMP charger a travel charger http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/ETA0U80JBEBSTD. I am sure these have all changed somewhat from time to time and I know they have device to device and phone to phone model. I would say they may be just letting the inventory already packaged deplete. We will see more when the S5 hits the shelf this year.
