Why does the Galaxy S III show as 'Global Ready' when it isn't?

If I search VZW for smartphones that are Global Ready, one of the devices listed is the Samsung Galaxy S III. Unless an update has gone out very recently and the forums have not been updated, this isn't true. What's the deal?

The Global capabilities were added with the Jelly Bean 4.1 update.

Great questigon EphraimBaron,
With the lastest software update that went out to the Samsung Galaxy S3 in mid December to the 4.1 JellyBean, it has enabled the device to be globally active. It has also enabled it for a lot more benefits that can be seen here http://vz.to/ON56bT. Hope your phone search has just become a little easier with this great news.
