Note 3, Android 5.0
When I am at home and my phone (Note 3) is using my wireless network this message comes up on my screen often and then fades out, "Connected to a WiFi network". How can I keep that message from coming up? It is very disturbing and I'm very aware that my phone is connected to a WiFi network.
Thanks... Bob

Let's take a look and see what might be causing this Agunats. It does sound like this message can be disturbing. Does this happen only once when you initially connect to your WiFi Network? Does it happen when you connect to other WiFi Networks? When did this start? Was anything changed on your phone; was there any new applications downloaded, or software updates done to your phone when this started?

You should also verify that your internet isn't dropping it out. If it does, then you reconnect, and it does it again, you reconnect again...see where I'm going? It will always let you know once you've connected after you've been disconnected.

Sometimes some phones have settings in Advanced WiFi to disconnect from WiFi if the signal is weak or intermittent or even if the signal is strong, but there is no actual connection to the Internet by way of the router.
