Anyone know what this is? It shows up with the marketplace pic by it. I took my phone off charge 2 hours ago. I'm already at half battery and that is using 66%. It just showed up!

Did you install any apps lately? Uninstall them and see if that clears it. Check also what process are running in the background..

Nope. Nothing updated or installed in several days. This just appeared. I use the task manager that came with the phone because it seems to be the only way I can completely close out the browser so all active apps get closed.

nickjr,
I did that, let's hope it works!
Day before yesterday, the Market said I had updates. So... I performed the updates and the next thing I know, everytime I performed a task (i.e. made a phone call, opened the messenger, gallery, etc), I would get a blue dialog screen saying something to the effect of "Package:com.android.process.media or .phone . Basically, whatever task I was trying to perform, that was the end on the package extension.
I tried shutting the phone off and back on. No luck. Turned the phone off, took out the battery, reinserted and turned the phone back on - no luck.
I'll let you know if this works for all.

monwarsec99, please tap on the following: Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All>Media Storage>Clear Data
If the error message does not go away, please let us know and we'll be happy to troubleshoot further.
Thanks!
