everytime we try to reply to an email, it says " failed to send some messages.-java.net.socket timeout exception". they put K9 mail on our phone because they (verizon store) said that is what works with this phone or verizon for aol. please help!
Good afternoon ellemay. I am sorry to learn of the issues that you are having sending e-mails from your Samsung Galaxy S3. I know it is nice to stay connected to e-mails while away from the computer and I absolutely want to make sure that we get this up and running for you.
Are you just having problems sending e-mails? Or are you having problems recieving them as well?
What time of e-mail address are your using? Have you tried uninstalling the K-9 application and activating your e-mail address through the built in application? Please visit http://vz.to/VW7IMw and click the link that says "Samsung S3 Simulator:Adding a personal E-mail". This will provide you step by step instructions on how to add an e-mail address to your phone.
I'm not too familiar with the K-9 application, since it is through a third party, but try uninstalling that application and reinstalling it and add your e-mail address again through there to see if that works.
Please gives these a try and let us know if the issues persist.
