can any of you guys tell me how to get apps back off of memory card after a phone reset. none of my apps are showing on the card.  thanks

Moving applications to the sd card is not backing them for an easy way to restore after a factory reset. You will need to re-download the applications from the Market.

Look at at investing in My Backup Pro or a similar application for the next reset.

Hi there!

 

@Ann154 is correct. The idea of having the apps on your SD card is not so they can be restored after a reset, but to free up internal memory on the phone to ensure operation as smooth as possible within the device.

 

However, in most cases once you open the Market up after the reset, you can tap "Menu" to select 'My Apps' to re-install your apps!
