my fiance phone updated and mine is still not allowed too. Went into local store and rep suggested a new sim because he had seen on here that could be the issue.
anyone having this issue still? any real fixes? i have seen the samsung suggested sending the phone back to them on your own dime and being without a phone for 10-12 business days which cant and wont happen.
anyone have any luck? i like having my phone updated to the newest version if at all possible
I haven't been able to update mine even six weeks after I activated it. Still stuck on ICS 4.0.4. Just keeps saying "no new software update available" when I go to Settings and try to do it manually. Certainly haven't gotten the push OTA! Didn't switch the sim card because the reps at both the store and on the Level 2 Support line didn't think it would make a difference, but maybe they're both wrong? If you get yours fixed w/o having to send it back to Samsung (Samsung offered the same thing to me when I called them), let me know... would love to hear how you got your JB update.
