For some reason my e-mails are not downloading into the Galaxy s3.  It was working, however now it says downloading and nothing is happening.  What do I change to get the to work ?

Hi gramps82, Let's get your email back to real time delivery! Are you using GMail or another provider? Are your other data services working as normal? Have you restarted the phone since this began? I am eager to troubleshoot and get this resolved!
