There are many ways to do this.

From your computer simply open your email client, then send the music file as an attachment. I would use your Gmail account to send and receive this mp3.

When received on your cell just long press the music file and select SAVE and place it in your ringtone folder or music folder on your phone. Some phones you can simply long press the music file and select SET AS RINGTONE.

Another way is to hook your cell phone up to your computer via the usb cable. Make sure its set as MASS STORAGE DEVICE on the phone. Your computer can see your phone as another drive letter. Just drag and drop the music from your computer to the music folder or ringtone folder on your phone.

Make sure to read your owners manual to perform the above tasks.

Another way I sometimes use is having my DLNA to my computer seen via my phone (over your home network) you just select the music from one of your computers or devices on your network to your phone.

Hey youngbunny!

This is a fantastic question. After all, I know I always like to make sure that I have a jamming ringtone setup. So, we want to do the same for you.

As suggested by a fellow community poster, there may be several ways to do this utilizing third party services for the most part however. The truth is, a lot of times the file from your music list on your computer may not be compatible with converting into one that your Galaxy SIII can use as a ringtone. With that said, we suggested using the Verizon Tones app from your device for the easiest route to get things setup.
