im trying to get my location verified for a web site and it seems the only way is to turn off the 4g lte option on the phone

That device is designed to run on our amazing 4g network. There isn't a feature that allows you to change that on our site. I would recommend trying a different web site. Another option may be to attempt this website when on a wifi network.

I just updated my samsung 3 and I don't see the 4g on off switch anymore in the settings. How do I turn it off as I prefer to run on WI-FI 99% of the time.
Is it in the expanded notification bar icons? Under the Data Usage option in the phone settings? It is there, but may not be in the same location as it was previously.
