only old emails show in comcast acct

phone showing 100 read and/or deleted emails from jan. nothing showing in sent folder. will not pick up current email. having this problem on & off for 2 mos. i tried clearing cache, worked occasionally. then tried clearing all data, deleting acct, then re adding acct. no luck. problem occurs at random in middle of day, not just after phone is turned on or off. fixes itself, then not. driving me crazy! everyone else in fam has iphone and cant help me. what next??

I have the same device, and I use different email accounts. This would drive me crazy as well! Let's figure it out. Are you using the email icon that came with the device, or did you download an application from the Play Market? Have you checked the email on your PCDo you have any other email accounts on the device? If so, do they give you any issues? Please check the email settings to make sure that everything is set correctly (open the email account, press Menu then Settings).

used email app that came on phone. used automatic set up. only have comcast set up on phone, (and the gmail i needed for android system but i really dont use that) although i have other email accts. everything shows up fine on all other computers. email not synced to home computers as they are mac and ipad. i have email set to 100; i have been trying to mark as read when getting close to that in case the limit triggers the problem. several days after i posted, phone is back to normal, but who knows when the phantom will strike again? thank you for replying.
