   if someone sends picture to my text how do i save it to my gallery(my pics)

To save the picture to your gallery follow the steps below:

Open the message 

Open the message thread of the picture you want to save 

Tap and hold the image for a couple of seconds until a menu appears

Tap copy attached to SD card 

Now you would be able to view the photo in the gallery app

Perhaps on other phones yes, but with the Fascinate, I found it to be different.

What you need to do is this: open you text message, click on the picture that was sent to you (the pic might show an arrow for play) then once it opens the picture, press menu, and choose "Attached items." Then click the check mark and save.

Once saved, go to your Gallery and it'll be in a section called "downloads" or downloaded.
