why cant i make contact with iphone users

I was an iPhone user and switched to an android (regretting it may return the phone) and I cant make any contact with my iPhone users (3kids and husband).  Not sure why and what can be done.  I was with tech support for an hour last night and still nothing.

You may need to de-register your number with Apple.
